Search UC Library Search for books, journals (not articles) and other materials available online or in the library.
Tip: Filter results by Availability --> Full-Text Online
Follow these steps to find e-books using the Advanced Search option of UC Library Search:
- Sign in (in the top right corner) with your UC Davis CAS/Kerberos login
- Select the 'UC Davis Libraries' Search option
- Enter search terms on your topic
- Prior to running the search, select the following options:
- Material Type: 'Books'
- Language: 'EN'
- Start Date: Enter desired YEAR
- Run search and scan results
- If desired, limit results to e-books by applying one of the following filter options in the left column:
- Availability: 'Full-Text Online' (recommended)
- Subject: 'Electronic Books'
- These two options each retrieve some unique results. We do not recommend applying both filters at the same time; however, it may be useful to experiment with using each filter separately.
