UC Davis is located near the Sacramento International (SMF). The Sacramento International Airport (SMF) is just over 20 miles (32 km) from UC Davis, which can take between 25 minutes to an hour, depending on the time of day and traffic. You will need to take ground transportation to Davis as there is no train or light rail from the airport.
There are several ground transportation options from the airport to your final destination, including hired vans and cars, rideshares and public transit via Yolo County bus. Please be aware that these options range in cost and convenience, and some need to be booked in advance, so do your research.
The Amtrak Capitol Corridor route stops at the downtown Davis station located at 840 2nd Street. There is a UC Davis Unitrans bus Route A picks up passengers from the Amtrak Station.
The Intercampus Bus service provides transportation between the University of California Davis and Berkeley campuses for UCD/UCB faculty, staff and registered students.
