The Association of California Nurse Leaders is the nursing leadership organization that advances professional nursing practice, influences health policy and improves the health of our communities.

The California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN) regulates the practice of registered nursing and certified advanced practice nurses in order to protect the public. The Board exists to protect the health and safety of consumers and promote quality registered nursing care in California.

The California School Nurses Organization (CSNO) was formally organized in 1950 after 2 years of meetings for “the promotion of comprehensive and constructive school health programs.

Founded in 2001, HealthImpact, formerly known as the California Institute for Nursing & Health Care (CINHC), is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to transforming the capacity of nurses to meet the evolving health needs of Californians. HealthImpact works collaboratively with diverse partners to advance innovative, practical solutions that strengthen nurses’ contribution to the health of California through programs and consulting services
