Searching in a library catalog requires looking for broader topics such as forensic entomology or DNA fingerprinting rather than the more specific necrophagous flies or heterozygote single-source LR.
UC Davis theses and dissertations on Forensic Science may be found by keyword searching “M.S. Davis Forensic Science Dissertations” Note that a few computer science - digital forensics titles will be retrieved by this search. UC Davis did not require students submit online copy until 2009. Older theses will be in print at Shields Library located by format (rather than by subject) on the 2nd floor in the same section where all UCD theses and dissertations are located: LD 781 .D5j [Year of completed thesis] [coding for student surname].
PLEASE NOTE: Most forensic science publications are online - more than 3/4 of the UCD Library collections in this area are ebooks and ejournals.
