ANS 2: Introduction to Animal Science

Journals

You are required to use the citation style for the Journal of Animal Science for the reference list of your report.  Please make sure you have the Library VPN (Pulse Secure) CONNECTed if you are off campus. Browse the journal website for current articles to see their reference lists for examples of citing publications.  The journal’s instructions to authors provide detailed information about manuscript submissions including a “literature cited” section.

Use UC Library Search: UCD Library Catalog setting to find which journals we subscribe to, either online or in print.

  • Online subscriptions: the catalog will give links to the article PDF in the database where that content is avaiable. Note that we often get online content for different years from different sources. Read the fine print.
  • Print subscriptions: the catalog will give you the call number and location. The item record will indicate whether or not it is checked out.
