This guide will introduce you to the "Better Scientific Poster" and "Even Better Scientific Poster," used for poster making in various disciplines, and applied here in health sciences and evidence-based practice presentations.
What is the "Better Scientific Poster?"
The Better Scientific Poster was created to simplify research projects to their essential elements, making it easier to browse many posters at a conference and understand an individual poster quickly. There are three versions:
- Mike Morrison made the original Better Scientific Poster in 2019
- Mike Morrison released a second, similar version in 2020
- MIT students released their version, the Even Better Scientific Poster, in 2023
