Primary source collection on the history and study of sex, sexuality, and gender research covering disciplines such as social, political, health, and legal issues impacting LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer) communities around the world. Formats include books, articles, images and manuscripts. The archive includes gay and lesbian newspapers from more than 35 countries, reports, policy statements, and other documents related to gay rights and health, including the worldwide impact of AIDS, materials tracing LGBTQ activism in Britain from 1950 through 1980, and more. Modules include: International Perspectives on LGBTQ Activism and Culture (UC acquired 2021) and LGBTQ History and Culture since 1940 & Sex and Sexuality, Sixteenth to Twentieth Centuries (UC acquired 2019).
